Last night I had the privledge of attending the Boston Medical Center / New England Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center Spring Into Action Gala at Boston's InterContinentel Hotel on the waterfront. This event was a fundraiser to support treatment and research that will benefit people like me who are living with chronic spinal cord injuries (SCI). I was in a diving accident 24 years ago and have used a chair since then. I recieved acute care and rehab at BMC, and I continue to get my medical care there to this day from their great rehab team, led by Dr. Steve Williams. What a great show of support for this amazing operation!
