My mother is one of five girls, and in my family we always refer to her sisters as "the aunts." They are pictured above, along with my sister-in-law and cousin. My aunts have always been super-supportive of me my whole life. In fact, a couple of them are coming to Washington DC next week with my mother for the big competition.
I consider myself very lucky that I come from a family of such strong women.
